Terms of Use

These conditions govern access to the website. Visiting a page, reading content, or submitting a search means that you accept them. Do not continue using the service if you disagree.

NO FCRA USE. This privately operated website has no government affiliation. Neither it nor its advertising partners supplies a service for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or other screening regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Its purpose is to identify Marion County and Texas criminal-record resources. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no tie to a government office. It neither stores official records nor retrieves records, conducts an official check, or files documents for a user.

The content routes readers to Marion County custodians, Texas Department of Public Safety, the Texas Public Sex Offender Registry, and relevant outside tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Use of the service is conditioned on the following restrictions. You must not:

  • Break any federal, state, or local law while using this site
  • Use information you find here to stalk, harass, or threaten anyone
  • Base hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions on content from this site
  • Try to break into our systems or gain access you are not supposed to have
  • Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
  • Do anything that slows the site down or blocks other people from using it

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information found here or through a linked tool may not be used to harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten, or unlawfully discriminate. Misuse may be criminal. Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Chapter 62 provides registry information for lawful public awareness, not vigilantism or prohibited adverse treatment.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not produce consumer, credit, or official background reports. The service and its advertising partners are not designed for regulated eligibility decisions. You may not use site or linked-tool data to:

  • Decide whether to hire or fire someone
  • Screen potential renters or housing applicants
  • Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
  • Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
  • Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules

A regulated screening purpose requires an appropriate official or FCRA-compliant provider, not this resource.

5. No Legal Advice

The content is not legal advice. General explanations of Marion County records cannot determine how a charge, warrant, conviction, nondisclosure, or expunction law applies to a person. Consult a licensed Texas attorney for advice.

6. No Warranties

The website is provided "as is," without a guarantee that:

  • The information here is accurate, complete, or current at any given time
  • The site will stay up and running without interruptions
  • Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
  • Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Charges, dispositions, custody, sealing, and expunction status can change. Gaps and delays are possible. No page should be treated as an official statement by a court, sheriff, or agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links can lead to agencies and other services beyond our control. Their content, availability, prices, and data practices are their responsibility. Review the destination's own terms before use.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Marion County Criminal History or its content partners. Copying, distribution, modification, or derivative use requires prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from website use or reliance on information obtained here or through a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to hold us harmless from claims, actions, or demands caused by your use of the service or breach of these conditions, including related legal fees and costs.

11. Governing Law

Texas law governs these terms. A dispute connected with use of the service must be filed in a court located in Texas.

12. Changes to These Terms

Revised terms take effect when posted on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be limited or terminated at any time and without advance notice.

14. Severability

If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms stay in force. The affected provision is adjusted only as needed for enforcement.

15. Questions
